Funeral for Lesley Rees of St. Louis will be held at 1 p.m. today at First Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until service time.

Ortmann Funeral Home in St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.

Rees, 71, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in a St. Louis hospital.

He was born June 11, 1927, in Mound City, Ill., son of Albert and Zelma Heffner Rees. He married the former Eleanor Finneran.

Survivors include two daughters, Dana Newcomb of St. Louis, Judy Crumbaker of St. Clair; his former wife of St. Louis; a sister, Murl Cutright of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Wesley Rees of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a brother.
