CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral mass for Leroy (Pete) Foulk, 818 Jefferson, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City, with graveside rites by military personnel at Ft. Leonard Wood.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 4 p.m. today. A rosary will be held at 7.
Foulk, 61 years old, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 1990, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 25, 1929, at Fornfelt, son of Leroy and Irene Dodson Foulk. He and the former Louise Jean Gremard were married Nov. 20, 1949.
Foulk served in the U.S. Army 20 years, retiring as a first sergeant in 1968. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish, and former member of VFW Post 3838.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ervin Foulk of Cape; a daughter, Nelletta Godwin of Gordonville; three sisters, Peggy Hensley and Janette Grasso of Scopus, Dorothy Sanders of Granite City, Ill.; two grandchildren, Rebecca and James Foulk of Cape.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, a brother and sister.
