PUXICO, Mo. -- Leroy W. Cato, 70, of Puxico died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at his home.
He was born Dec. 29, 1936, at Zalma, son of Harrison and Dorothy Swick Cato. He and Betty Bowling were married Nov. 10, 1956, at Brownwood, Mo.
Cato was a retired heavy equipment operator with Delta Asphalt. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Asherville, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Cato of Puxico; two brothers, Hubert Cato of Troy, Mo., Bill Cato of Dexter, Mo.; a sister, Kathryn Brown of Sedgewickville, Mo.; and a granddaughter.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Terry Stockman officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
