CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Leonard H. Kinkade, 1449 Whitener, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Doyle Randol will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Kinkade, 72 years old, died Monday, Jan. 14, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Feb. 8, 1918, in Corning, Ark., son of Virgil Andrew and Mary Lou Hendrix Kinkade. He and the former Lucy I. Davis were married July 1, 1950, in Piggott, Ark. She died in 1990.

Kinkade was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad 37 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church, and the Walking Together program at West Park Mall.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Kinkade and Linda Whitmore of Cape, and two grandchildren, Jason and Amie Whitmore of Cape.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
