LEONARD ALLEN

SIKESTON -- Leonard Allen, 77, of 502 E. Kathleen in Sikeston died Sunday, April 12, 1992, at the Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born May 12, 1914, in Sikeston, the son of Willis and Nancy Lewis Allen. On Dec. 23, 1932, he married Hazel Dockins in Siekston. She survives of the home.

A life-long resident of the area, he was a member of the North Acres General Baptist Church and a retired shoe cutter for International Shoe Company in Sikeston.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews. A son, a daughter, a brother, and three sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Norman Elledge will officiate, and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
