Leona Loretta "Peggy" Trimble, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1913, in Hickory Ridge, Mo., daughter of Melvin and Chlora McNeeley Revelle. She and Garvel Robert Trimble were married June 30, 1940, in Hampton, Va. He died Aug. 18, 2000...

Leona Loretta "Peggy" Trimble, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Oct. 9, 1913, in Hickory Ridge, Mo., daughter of Melvin and Chlora McNeeley Revelle. She and Garvel Robert Trimble were married June 30, 1940, in Hampton, Va. He died Aug. 18, 2000.

Trimble was a graduate of Delta High School. She was a licensed practical nurse 10 years, and had worked at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Her husband was in the U.S. Air Force 30 years and they lived in many places. They retired and moved to Hope, Idaho, in 1976. She moved to Cape Girardeau in October 2000.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Survivors include two brothers, Carroll Revelle of Poplar Bluff, Mo., James Revelle of Sedgewickville, Mo.; two sisters, Katy Proctor of Cape Girardeau, and Audrey Kitchen of Union, Mo.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Dr. Derek Staples will officiate. Entombment will be at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, Ariz.
