Leona Jo-Ann Billmeyer, 74, of Jacksonville, Fla., a beloved wife and mother, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Orange Park Memorial Hospital in Orange Park, Fla.
She was born April 20, 1933, in Washington Park, Ill., daughter of the late Leonard K. and Alice Mae Williams Houk.
Mrs. Billmeyer was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Mary-Lou and Peggy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wilford Raymond "Bill" Billmeyer; two sons, Craig M. Billmeyer (Mary Lou) of Cape Girardeau, Todd L. Billmeyer (Amelia) of Affton, Mo.; a daughter, Kathy Womack (Matthes) of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Angie, Andy, Tony, Allison, Amy and Alex; and a great-grandchild, Jack.
Jo filled her life with loving family, nieces, nephews and friends and her love of reading.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Seven Holy Founders Church, 6741 Rock Hill Road, Affton. Phone 314-638-3938.
