SIKESTON -- Roy Leon Stilwell, 80, died at the Missouri Delta Medical Center here Saturday, Nov. 11, 1995.

He was born Sept. 15, 1915, at Bunker to the late William Clark and Vernie Jane Copeland Stilwell.

He was a salesman for Cauble and Field in Cape Girardeau and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

He married Thelma Long on March 9, 1952. She survives him.

Other survivors are two daughters, Brenda Mattison of Sikeston and Patty Carpenter of Haugan, Mont.; a son, Jimmy Stilwell; a sister, Lena Kinningham of Osceola, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
