MARBLE HILL -- Funeral for Leoma Elizabeth Cureton of Bay, formerly of Marble Hill, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Clinton Massa will officiate, with burial in Old Union Cemetery at Bessville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time.
Cureton, 79, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
She was born April 13, 1919, at Cascade, daughter of Poley and Zetty Rose Skaggs. She married Robert Cureton, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include five sons, Bobby, Roy, Troy and Paul Cureton, all of Marble Hill, Joe Cureton of Bay; three daughters, Modean Morris of Jefferson City, Colleen Cureton of Bay, Alleen Gromer of Marble Hill; three brothers, Fayman Skaggs of St. James, Winford Skaggs of Columbus, Odis Skaggs of Park Hills; 31 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren.
