Leola Clementine Poston, 83, 721 W. Rodney, died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at her home.
She was born May 19, 1913, at Sedgewickville, daughter of Judes and Myrtle Statler Seabaugh. She and Oscar Poston were married Sept. 23, 1932, in Jonesboro, Ill.
Poston worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. 45 years. She was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Poston; a daughter, Carol Pind; two sisters, Trula Kistner and Inez Statler, all of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel after 3 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Fred Poston and David Griesemer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
