ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Leo Ernest Weber, 80, of Altenburg died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 5, 1922, at Wittenberg, Mo., son of Otto and Ida Perr Weber. He and Dorothy Detjen were married May 20, 1951.
Weber was a farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Gene Weber of Kokomo, Ind., Stan and Larry Weber of Altenburg, Harlan Weber of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Sandy Hoffman of Oak Ridge; a brother, Edmund Weber of Frohna, Mo.; a sister, Helen Koenig of Arizona; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Charles Weber will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
