CHAFFEE -- Leo L. Glastetter, 81, of Chaffee died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at Chaffee Nursing Center. He was born Sept. 24, 1917, at Chaffee, son of Anton and Regina Heuring Glastetter. CHAFFEE -- Leo L. Glastetter, 81, of Chaffee died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

He was born Sept. 24, 1917, at Chaffee, son of Anton and Regina Heuring Glastetter. He and Luella H. Glueck were married May 1, 1943.

Glastetter was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and its Men's Club.

He was a technical sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Glastetter of Chaffee; two daughters, Carol Hodge of Chaffee, Mary Cobb of Scott City; two brothers, Lawrence Glastetter of Stockton, Ill., Eugene Glastetter of Chaffee; a sister, Bertha Scherer of Scott City; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, and six sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
