LEOPOLD -- Leo A. Elfrink, 87, of Leopold, died Wednesday, June 5, 1991, at his home.
He was born April 1, 1904, at Leopold, son of George and Elizabeth Holweg Elfrink. He and the former Minnie Nenninger were married April 22, 1925.
Elfrink was a retired blacksmith and wagonmaker. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church here.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Richard Elfrink of Leopold, Daniel Elfrink of Arnold, Norbert Elfrink of Benton, Alvin Elfrink of Maplewood, Charles Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, Nick Elfrink of Marble Hill; 22 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary; four brothers, six sisters and two grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. today at St. John's Church. The Rev. Michael Casteel will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery. Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
