ADVANCE -- Lenvil Pickett, 83, of Advance, died Wednesday, July 19, 1995, at his home.
He was born June 6, 1912, at Sank, son of Rosewell and Lou Eaker Pickett. He and Goldie Ladd were married Aug. 22, 1936, at Marble Hill.
Pickett was a bus driver with Zalma School District 22 years and had also farmed. He was a member and trustee of Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry Pickett of Jackson; a daughter, Willa Cook of Ormond Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Forrest Pickett of Rupert, Idaho, Willie Pickett of St. Charles; three sisters, Joy Prater of Eureka, Maxine Newcomb of Lebanon, Glenda Richards, Advance Route 2; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons and two sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Rudy Pittman and Arvil Croy officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
