SIKESTON -- Frances Lenora Norman, 98, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Eastern Ozark Regional Health Center in Cherokee Village.
She was born July 21, 1901, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of James W. and Nannie I. Smith Norman.
Norman worked at Sikeston Public Library 33 years, and had been head librarian.
Survivors include a nephew, Everett Craig of Sikeston; two nieces, Liz Williamson of Cherokee Village, and Janice Tanner of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Rick Lasley officiating.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
