Lena Mae Alice Phillips, 70, of Scott City died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Canalou, Mo., to Fred and Jessie Drew Perkins. She married Allen Wayne Phillips on April 14, 1964.
Lena was a housekeeper at Drury Lodge and a member of Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
She is survived by her husband, Allen; three sons, Brady Phillips of Scott City, Melvin (Dana) Phillips of Columbia, Mo., and Angus Zypf of East Alton, Ill.; two daughters, Teresa McDaniel of Slater, Ky., and Alice Lindstrom of Columbia; two brothers, Bill Perkins of Union, Mo., and Paul Burger of Benton, Mo.; two stepchildren, Ted Phillips and Kay Crooks of Centralia, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Memorial visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
