VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Lena Mae Richards Miller, 85, of Litchfield, Ill., formerly of Decatur, Ill. and Olmsted, Ill., died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Litchfield Health Care Center.
She was born May 9, 1917, daughter of Henry and Lillian Coleson Richards. She and Pearl Lee "Pete" Miller were married. He died April 28, 1988.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She worked as a housekeeper.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Miller of Decatur and Gary Miller of Mounds, Ill.; a daughter, Phyllis Rhodes of Decatur; three sisters, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Stratz of Aurora, Ill., Renia Richards of Rochester, Mich., and Merida Tempke of Olmsted; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, a sister and three brothers.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Concord Cemetery west of Olmsted, with the Rev. Carl H. Miller officiating. Burial will follow.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill. is in charge of arrangements.
