LENA M. GRAVES

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Lena Mae Graves of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home here. The Rev. Tom Miller will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m.

Graves, 86, died Tuesday, May 10, 1994, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Sept. 7, 1907, in Union County, daughter of Thomas A. and Desserretta Angell Cavaness. She and Joe Metzger Graves were married May 2, 1928. He died Feb. 12, 1985.

Graves had worked at a box mill in Cobden, Anna Shoe Factory, secretary at family owned oil company, and retired in 1972 as a support service worker at Choate Mental Health Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Edwards of Anna; three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
