LENA J. MORRIS

Lena Jane Morris, 96, Fountainbleau Lodge, died Wednesday, April 15, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 30, 1895, in Upshur County, W.Va., daughter of R.W. and Laura E. Snyder Alkire. She and Okey W. Morris were married July 3, 1919.

Morris was a member of the United Methodist Church in Buckhannon, W.Va.

Survivors include a son, William K. Morris of Scott City; a grandson, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, seven brothers and six sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon. Burial will be in Heavener Cemetery there.

Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home.
