PATTON -- Lena Brotherton Miinch, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994, at her home near Patton.
She was born March 26, 1923, the daughter of the late Early Lee and Effie Mae Shoemake Hahn. On June 27, 1940, she married J.B. Brotherton, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1992. On July 21, 1994, she married Lowell Miinch, who survives.
She was a member of Post Oak Methodist Church.
Other survivors include three sons, Jerry Brotherton of Cape Girardeau, and Wayne and Donald Brotherton, both of Fredericktown; three stepsons, John Miinch of Sedgewickville, and Harold and Doug Miinch, both of Patton; two stepdaughters, Vickie Ambrose of Bethalto, Ill., and Jo Cooley of Jackson; a sister, Lottie (Sis) Hanners of Jackson; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 14 stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren
Seven brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Liley Funeral Chapel. The Rev. W.D. Snyder will officiate, and burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery near Patton.
