LELAND WEBB

BLOOMFIELD -- Leland S. Webb, 63, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born April 24, 1934, at Poplar Bluff, son of Noah Clayton and Nokie Mae Wilson Webb.

Formerly of Bloomfield, Webb had lived at Poplar Bluff 10 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Webb of Bloomfield, Vernon Webb of San Simon, Ariz.; a daughter, Janice Pinkerton of Poplar Bluff; his mother of Poplar Bluff; six brothers, Jim Webb of Henderson, Ky., Bud and Winfred Webb of Poplar Bluff, Glenn Webb of Roseburg, Ore., Fred Webb of Granite City, Ill., Lester Webb of Port Arthur, Texas; two sisters, Lola Talley of Roseburg, Juanita Shourd of Searcy, Ark.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with burial in Harper Cemetery at Aid.
