Lee Henderson Weed Jr., 89, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Lee H. and Elizabeth Wood Weed. He and Catharine Carpenter were married Dec. 19, 1959, at Memphis,.
Lee served in the U.S. Navy as a flight officer and was active in the reserve until he was 60 years old
He loved to play golf at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
He worked at Procter & Gamble for 37 years.
Survivors include his wife, Catharine Weed of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Robert H. (Tina) Weed of Sturgis, Michigan, Jonathan (Hiroko) Weed of Pueblo, Colorado, and Adam Weed of Columbia, Missouri; four grandchildren, Laura Weed and Sarah Weed, Mary Weed and Makayla Weed; and two great-grandchildren, Antonio and Skai Weed.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no services.
