LEE V. HAMILTON

CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Lee V. Hamilton of Charleston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Sparks Funeral Chapel. Bishop Charlie Green will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.

Hamilton, 83, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, at Sikeston Health Care Center.

He was born April 14, 1910, in Coldwater, Miss., son of James and Beatrice Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife, Lue Bertha; six sons, Bennie Howard of Chicago, Jimmy Hamilton of Country Club Hills, Ill., Rochester Hamilton of Fort Heights, Ill., Sylvester, Leonard and Jerome Hamilton of Charleston; three daughters, Ernestine Jones of Sikeston, Bertha Kelly of Gary, Ind., Bernice Kent of Charleston; 32 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
