LEE SIDES

Funeral for Lee L. Sides will be held at 10 a.m. today at Jay B. Smith Maplewood Chapel in Maplewood, Mo. Burial will be in Bellerive Heritage Gardens in Creve Coeur, Mo.

Sides, 66, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood, Mo.

He was born Aug. 24, 1934, at Benton, Mo., son of Tom and Eula Sides. He and Madeline Adelma Kramps were married July 12, 1958.

Sides lived at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau six years. He had worked at Valley Steel in St. Louis. He was a member and past master of Brentwood Lodge 616 AF&AM.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-67.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Sides of Festus, Mo., Pete Sides of Cleveland, Ohio; four daughters, Cindy Flottmann of Champaign, Ill., Diana Herr, Denise Woodruff and Lori Minnella, all of St. Louis; his mother of Cape Girardeau; and nine grandchildren.
