Lee Roy Tinnin, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Aug. 30, 1934, at Fredericktown, son of Archie and Stella Robinson Tinnin.

He married Annalee Goode on Aug. 10, 1974, at Cape Girardeau. She survives.

He is also survived by a son, Ronald Tinnin of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Rene Statler and Donna Terry, both of Cape Girardeau, and Lee Ann Schenimann and Becky Moneyhun, both of Jackson; a brother, Dr. T.A. Tinnin of Fredericktown; a sister, Shirleen DeCormier of St. Louis; and 12 grandchildren.

He was a member of the Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club and the Eagles Club in Cape Girardeau.

He served in the Army, stationed at Tacoma, Wash.

For many years he was a riverboat chief engineer, retiring in 1990. Since that time he had done auto mechanic work at his home.

Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with the Rev. Richard Tragasz officiating. Burial will be in McClains Chapel Cemetery

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
