Lee Roche, 80, of Chicago Heights, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Prairie Manor Health Care in Chicago Heights.
He was born Feb. 1, 1925, in St. Louis, son of James Leon and Edna Worthington Roche. He married the former Mary Whitbread.
Roche had been a bartender at a country club.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Phillip Roche of Roselle, Ill., John Roche of Chicago Heights, Robert Roche of Nixon, Mo.; three daughters, Juanita Nutting of Momence, Ill., Celeste Burns of Hobart, Ind., Gloria Roche of Arkansas; and a brother, James Roche of Jackson.
Friends may call at Tews Funeral Home in Homewood, Ill., from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
