ANNA, Ill. -- Lee R. Suits, 59, of Lakeland, Fla., died Tuesday, April 7, 1992, at Jacksonville Naval Air Station Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.
He was born Dec. 14, 1932, in East Alton, son of David and Isabel Newell Suits.
Suits was a graduate of Wood River High School, and attended Illinois State University at Normal. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and had been a manager with Wal-Mart.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Bradley of Neptune Beach, Fla.; his father and stepmother, David and Rhoda Suits of Makanda; three sisters, Oveta Gray of San Jose, Calif., Frances Baker of Anna, Brenda Fruiley of Makanda; two brothers, Rev. James Suits of Hodgenville, Ky., and Paul Suits of Carbondale.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jonesboro Pentecostal Church. The Rev. James Suits will officiate, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 7-9 p.m. Friday, and on Saturday until service time.
