SIKESTON -- Lee Horton, 80, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1992, at his home.
He was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Lexington, Tenn., son of Omrie Lee and Olie Mae Snyder Horton. He and Pauline M. Bozeman were married Nov. 7, 1932, in St. Louis. She died April 23, 1967.
Horton had worked at Sikeston Board of Municipal Utilities 33 years, and was a member of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirleen Stone of Biloxi, Miss.; four brothers, Carl Horton of Rockford, Ill., Lawson Horton of Chattanooga, Tenn., George Horton of Kennett, Billy Horton of San Louis Obispo, Calif.; two sisters, Zula Brown of Kennett, Estelle Truly of Scottshill, Tenn.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ed Short will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
