PERRYVILLE -- Lee Emmenderfer Sr., 51, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1996, at his home.
He was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Perryville, son of August and Elta Sutterer Emmenderfer. He and Sandra H. Fisher were married Dec. 3, 1966.
Emmenderfer retired as an auditor with Civil Service. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and American Legion Post 133. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Lee Emmenderfer Jr. of St. Peters; a daughter, Debbi Steinbecker of Perryville; three sisters, Eileen Lueders of Altenburg, Margie DeWilde of Perryville, Carol Brandel of St. Louis, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel from 4-9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 6:30-9:45 a.m. A parish wake will be held at 7 tonight, followed by an American Legion wake at 7:15.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
