WHITEWATER -- Lee E. Moore, 66, of Whitewater Route 1, was found dead on the family farm Monday, Aug. 12, 1991.
He was born July 16, 1925, at Allenville, son of Charles and Anna Bock Moore. He and Marie Baylor were married April 9, 1944, in Cape Girardeau.
Moore was a mail carrier in Cape Girardeau 35 years, and later farmed. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bradley Moore of Cape Girardeau, Kenneth Moore of Houston, Texas, Bruce Moore of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Janet Ainsworth and Connie Moore of Cape Girardeau; six brothers, Leonard, Charles and Otto Moore of Cape Girardeau, George Moore of San Antonio, Texas, Everett Moore of Advance, G.E. "Butch" Moore of Delta; a sister, Verna Hahs of Millersville, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory, in 1978; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. David V. Dissen will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
