BENTON, Ill. -- Lee Ann Williams, 70, of Benton passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at her home.
She was born May 24, 1952, to Richard and Shirley Harlow Farmer in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Lee Ann married Kenneth Williams on Jan. 16, 1972, and he survives.
Lee Ann worked as a registered nurse for many years. She took care of her father for over 10 years. Lee Ann was an awesome grandmother and good friend.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, Richard Farmer of Cape Girardeau; sister, LaDonne (John) Beardsley of Lexington, Kentucky; son, John Williams of Benton; daughter, Lisa Williams of Benton; two granddaughters, Aubrey and Kylee Williams of Benton; a grandson, Ty Taylor of Benton; and several other relatives and friends.
Lee Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Farmer.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Ed Rothenberger officiating. Interment will be at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy, Illinois, following the service with Brad Harlow officiating.
