ADVANCE, Mo. — Lee Ann Bennett-Stanfill, 61, of Advance passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016.
She was born Feb. 11, 1955, in Marietta, Georgia, to the late Bobby Lee Bennett and Mary Louise Houart, who survives of Bloomfield.
Lee Ann was a registered nurse for four years with Allen Home Care of Sikeston, Missouri. She also was a nursing supervisor with Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital for many years and worked as an emergency-room nurse for many years with SoutheastHEALTH at Dexter, Missouri.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Lou; two daughters, Tabitha Martin of San Pedro, California, and Jodie (Chad) Schott of Oran, Missouri; three brothers, Marvin Bennett of Chaffee, Missouri, Wesley Bennett of Arizona and Kerry Bennett of Advance; two sisters, Rena (Carl) Hefner of Advance and Kelly (Darren) Baker of Puxico, Missouri; five grandchildren, Aaron (Stephanie) Horrell of Chaffee, Jordan Schott of Oran, Anthony Hernandez of San Pedro, Alexis Schott of Oran and Gabriel Hernandez of San Pedro.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Aaron Wayne Martin and Wayne Paul Martin Jr.; and one brother, Charles Houart.
Family may call after 11 a.m. and friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Darren Baker officiating. Burial will be in Brown Church Cemetery in Puxico.
