Lee A. Harris, 61, 1017 N. Frederick, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 15, 1932, in Luxora, Ark., son of Aurther and Irene Presberry Harris. He and Elnora Kuykendoll were married Sept. 30, 1953, in Indianapolis, Ind.
The family moved to Cape Girardeau in 1959 from Oakland, Miss. He had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co., Kroger, custodian at Centenary United Methodist Church, and retired in 1990 as custodian at First Baptist Church. He was a member and deacon at New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Charles, Lee Jr., Anthony and Keith Harris of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Edna Kuykendoll, Annette, Rosa and Gloria Harris, all of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Pearl Curry and Martha Purl of Cape Girardeau, Minnie Wilson of Blue Island, Ill.; 24 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Bethel Church. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Saturday from 9 a.m. to service time.
