LEOPOLD -- Lawrence William Seiler, 80, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, at the Veterans Home in St. James.
He was born Oct. 22, 1918, at Leopold, son of Bernard "Ben" and Mary Brauer Seiler.
Seiler was a longtime resident of St. Ann before moving to the Veterans Home. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Seiler of Knoxville, Tenn., Lawrence "Sonny" Seiler of St. Charles; three brothers, Henry and Louis Seiler of St. Louis, Leonard Seiler of Oak Ridge; three sisters, Martha, Dorothy and Wilma of St. Louis; and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at Collier Funeral Home in St. Louis County from 6-8:30 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
