CHARLESTON -- Lawrence Max Robbins, 67, of Charleston, died Tuesday, March 23, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 8, 1925, in McNairy County, Tenn., son of Jimmy Alfred and Alice Pearl Curtis Robbins. He and Loretta Flatt were married Oct. 8, 1949.

Robbins was employed with Breeden Enterprises of Morehouse, and was a member of Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mike Robbins of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, L.C. Robbins of Michie, Tenn., William Robbins of Pocahontas, Ill., and Everett Robbins of Cleveland, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home here after 4:30 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at New Hope Methodist Church in Michie. The Rev. George Reed will officiate, with burial in New Hope Cemetery.
