SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Lawrence L. Barks, 86, of Sedgewickville died Feb. 28, 1995, at Perry Oaks Health Care Center in Perryville. He was born at Crossroads, Mo., Oct. 23, 1908, to Samuel and Francis Blaylock Barks. He was a retired carpenter. He married Ione Johnson Nov. 24, 1936. She survives...
SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Lawrence L. Barks, 86, of Sedgewickville died Feb. 28, 1995, at Perry Oaks Health Care Center in Perryville.
He was born at Crossroads, Mo., Oct. 23, 1908, to Samuel and Francis Blaylock Barks.
He was a retired carpenter.
He married Ione Johnson Nov. 24, 1936. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Donald Barks of Marble Hill; a sister, Hazel Farrar of Kirkwood; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
He was a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Stan Martin and Donny Ford officiating.
Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
