JACKSON -- Funeral service for Lawrence Kuehle of Jackson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Zion United Methodist Church at Gordonville. The Rev. Tom Gross will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday, and from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Kuehle, 89, died Monday, June 14, 1993, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.
He was born Jan. 4, 1904, at Tilsit, son of August F. and Emma Neumeyer Kuehle. He and Louise Roloff were married Sept. 20, 1931. She died Sept. 16, 1984.
Kuehle farmed in the Gordonville area, retiring in 1967 and moving to Jackson. He served on the Livestock Shippers Association Board, and the Gordonville Mutual Insurance Co. Board. He was a lifelong member of Zion Church.
Survivors include a son, Rev. Donald Kuehle of Fredericktown; a daughter, Marilyn Stutts of Southaven, Miss., and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
