Lawrence J. Doiron, 66, of Glen Allen died Saturday, May 27, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 2, 1929, in Skowhgan, Maine. He married Jocelyn Summers seven years ago.
Doiron was a retired barge tankerman. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and had lived in the Marble Hill area many years.
Survivors include his wife; eight sons, David W. Doiron, Randy Doiron and Steven Doiron, all of Mississippi, Lawrence Doiron and Dave Doiron, both of California, Mattheau Doiron of Louisiana, and Jarrod Doiron and Joshua Doiron, both of Glen Allen; three daughters; two brothers; four sisters; and several grandchildren.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Phillip Jordan will officiate, and burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
