LAWRENCE EASTWOOD

SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Lawrence Eastwood of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Meeks will officiate.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from noon until service time.

Eastwood, 81, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born April 17, 1917, in Wetaug, Ill., son of Charles and Emma Jayco Eastwood. He and Alice Tillock were married Jan. 8, 1942.

Eastwood retired as a construction worker with A.O. Smith. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Henrietta Conyers of Morley.
