SIKESTON -- Lawrence Brewer, 71, Sikeston Route 2, died Monday, Feb. 6, 1995, in the emergency room at Missouri Delta Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born April 2, 1923, in Bloomfield, son of Homer and Maude Cooper Brewer. He and Mary Jones were married May 1, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Brewer was a retired auto body repairman, and member of Shady Acres Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Brewer of Waupun, Wis.; four daughters, Diann Clark and Terry Zastrow of Las Vegas, Jane Dyke of Amarillo, Texas, Cheryl Rea of Sikeston; two brothers, Earl Brewer of Sikeston, Carl Brewer of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Johnny Hester officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
