EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- LaWanda Sue Jackson, 58, of East Prairie, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 3, 1947, near East Prairie, daughter of Alfred Thomas and Mary Eveline Bone Hendrix. She and Bill Jackson were married Oct. 11, 1966.
Jackson was a 1966 graduate of East Prairie High School, and received an associate's degree in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University.
She had been a sales representative with Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. She was a member of Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include a daughter, Lori Aduddell of Springfield, Mo.; two sons, Gregory Jackson of Stedman, N.C., Michael Jackson of Indianapolis, Ind.; her mother of East Prairie; two brothers, Bud Hendrix of Manteo, N.C., Joie Hendrix of East Prairie; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
