LAVERNE ENDRES

PERRYVILLE -- LaVerne C. "Tootie" Endres, 78, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, July 18, 1999, at Doctor's Hospital at Columbus, Ga.

She was born March 29, 1921, at St. Louis, daughter of Benjamin and Rosa M. Hoffman Cissel. She and James H. Endres were married June 22, 1940, at Perryville.

Endres owned and operated the "Mini Mart" at Perryville before her retirement. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary, the American Legion auxiliary and the Ladies of Charity.

She is survived by a daughter, Patti Lowder of Colombus, and a sister, Helen Hayden of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home, with a parish wake at 7 o'clock.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
