LaVera Maloy

AFFTON, Mo. -- LaVera Maloy, 88, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001.

She was born Oct. 25, 1912, the daughter of Charles and Lola Maloy.

She attended Southeast Missouri State University and worked for a bank in Cape Girardeau. She also was a secretary for the federal government.

She is survived by a niece, Juline Cheek.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, in Affton.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
