ADVANCE, Mo. -- Laveda Annette Stepp, 67, of Advance died Monday, June 21, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 18, 1936, in Advance, daughter of Dudley and Ida Miller McCullough. She and Paul Stepp Sr. were married Jan. 22, 1955. He died May 12, 2002...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Laveda Annette Stepp, 67, of Advance died Monday, June 21, 2004, at her home.

She was born Oct. 18, 1936, in Advance, daughter of Dudley and Ida Miller McCullough. She and Paul Stepp Sr. were married Jan. 22, 1955. He died May 12, 2002.

Stepp retired as a seamstress at International Hat Factory in Marble Hill, Mo., where she worked 27 years. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Greenbrier, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Stepp Jr. of Greenbrier, Gordon McCullough of Frisco, Texas; a daughter, Teresa Stepp of Dexter, Mo.; three brothers, Donald, William and Shannon McCullough, all of Jackson; a sister, Rosalie Abernathy of Greenbrier; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. James Johns and Gavin Page officiating. Burial will be in Greenbrier Cemetery at Greenbrier.
