SIKESTON -- A memorial service for Lave Throop of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelly Grubbs will officiate. Throop, 62, died Friday, July 10, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Fulton, Miss., daughter of Walter and Ada Tucker Kelso. She and Robert Dean Throop were married in Piggott, Ark. He died Feb. 29, 1972...

Throop, 62, died Friday, July 10, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Fulton, Miss., daughter of Walter and Ada Tucker Kelso. She and Robert Dean Throop were married in Piggott, Ark. He died Feb. 29, 1972.

Throop was a salesclerk at Mary's Boutique.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Throop of Kelso, Aaron Throop of Sikeston; a daughter, Deborah Fisher of Center, Texas; four brothers, Harley Kelso of Chicago, Meb Kelso of Memphis, Tenn., Reb. Kelso of Matthews, Dave Kelso of Mississippi; three sisters, Verb Curtis of Aurora, Ill., Vema Young of Sikeston, Vela Payne of Little Rock, Ark., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
