PATTON, Mo. -- Lauretta Welker, 80, of Patton passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at her home.

She was born July 12, 1940, in Patton, daughter of Truman E. and Mattie Mungle Heitman. She and Dewey Welker were united in marriage Oct. 17, 1964, and he survives her in Patton.

Lauretta worked for Angelica Uniform in Marquand, Missouri, until she retired. She was a member of Blue Creek Quilters, the United Methodist Women and Reagan's Chapel in Patton.

Survivors include her husband, Dewey Welker; children, Roddy (Patty) Welker, Timothy Welker and Jason (Christy) Welker, all of Patton; three sisters Maxine (Robert) Fulton of Patton, Jackie (Terry) Varner of Fruitlandand Sharran (Michael) Seabaugh of Patton; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Donald Welker; one granddaughter, LaCosta Welker Matthews; and three sisters, Velda Pogue, Eletha Faye Bollinger and Donna Yount.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to time of service today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Davis and Brother Rod Welker officiating. Burial will follow at Reagan's Chapel Cemetery in Patton.
