EAST PRAIRIE -- Laura Lena Wilburn, 98, of Fredericktown, died Monday, March 11, 1996, at Stochhoff Nursing Center in Fredericktown.
She was born Aug. 29, 1897, in Kentucky, daughter of Harvey and Sarah Thurman. She and Riley Wilburn were married May 3, 1915. He died in 1973.
Wilburn moved to Fredericktown in 1970 from East Prairie.

Survivors include a daughter, Christine Hahn of Fredericktown; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with George Lands officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
