LAURA STRUWE

CHAFFEE -- Laura Helen Struwe, 91, of Chaffee, died Friday, April 12, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 9, 1904, at New Hamburg, daughter of Anton and Regina Heuring Glastetter. She and Charlie William Struwe were married Oct. 8, 1928. He died Oct. 2, 1984.

Struwe was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Hurst and Alvetta Peck of Paducah, Ky., Charlene Arnzen of Cape Girardeau, Mary Ann Jackson of Chaffee; three brothers, Lawrence Glastetter of Stockton, Ill., Leo and Eugene Glastetter, Chaffee Route 2; a sister, Bertha Scherer of Scott City; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 3 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
