SCOTT CITY -- Funeral for Laura Elizabeth Adline Baker Spooler of Scott City will be held at 1 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Randy Morse will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Spooler, 95, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 11, 1903, in Riverside, Calif., daughter of Frederick and Bertha Malechile Bosse.
Spooler had been a sewing machine operator at Sport Specialty Shoe Co.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Ross of East Memphis, Tenn., Ed Baker of Scott City, John Baker of Yucaipa, Calif.; a daughter, Annalee Edwards of Scott City; a brother, Herbert Bosse of Hollywood, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two sisters.
