SIKESTON -- Laura May "Mrs. Mac" McCampbell, 90, of Sikeston died Sunday, Nov. 3, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 4, 1905, in Lexington, Ky., daughter of Robert and Emma Morris Boaz. She and Brown L. "Mac" McCampbell were married Jan. 24, 1925, in Paducah, Ky. He died July 16, 1983.

McCampbell moved to Sikeston in 1938 from New York City. She worked many years at Graber's Store, retiring in 1964. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Faith Fodge of Sikeston; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Revs. Mike Fodge, a grandson, and Keith Wilson will officiate, with burial in Memorial park Cemetery.
